First Friday

In the Heart of the Creative District

Each month, a family-friendly community celebration with a wide range of local arts, galleries, shopping, award-winning restaurants and spirits, live music and entertainment takes place in the heart of the Carbondale Creative District and historic downtown core.

Main Street businesses open their doors with extended hours and special offerings; local businesses and organizations host booths, games or activities. Locals and visitors alike generate community spirit on streets closed to traffic to create an expanded promenade feel.

Volunteers Needed for First Friday

This well loved monthly event brings the community en masse to the downtown core with so much wonderful energy. We need helping hands to set up/take down and to keep the vibes high.

Join the Bonedale Flea

The Bonedale Flea will be an outdoor market during September’s First Friday, presented by Carbondale Arts, featuring a variety of local makers, vintage goods, and culinary delights. Local and regional makers and vintage enthusiasts are invited to apply to display and sell their wares in an informal market atmosphere. Applications are due July 10.
