Laela Rose Janssen Exhibiting at Bonfire Coffee through February 2022

Carbondale Arts partners with Bonfire Coffee in Carbondale to feature new artists every 2 months. Now through February 2022, Roaring Fork Valley painter Laela Rose Janssen will be exhibiting her framed watercolor prints.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY:
Art has always been a passion of mine. I first started painting at the Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork. In the 8th grade we were asked to choose a project we were passionate about and to find a mentor who would teach us all that they could. I chose watercolor and I found a amazing mentor up in Woody Creek, Missy. She taught me so many new techniques and my passion grew. Since then I have taken numerous classes at The Art Base in Basalt.

I fell in love with the peacefulness of painting. The subjects that I love to paint are what bring love and joy to my life, nature and animals. I have also expanded my artistic ways through floral design.

One of my main goals of “Laela Rose Art” is to bring awareness and aid in animal welfare & wildlife conservation around the world. An important part of conservation is sustaining natural habitats for wildlife by allowing parts of your yard go wild and not use chemicals that can poison the environment and its inhabitants. Because of this we make sure all of our products and packaging are environmentally friendly, and we continue to make eco conscience decisions in all aspects of our business by using FSC Certified paper and clear sleeves made from plants that are compostable.
