Open Applications for Mountain Fair

Mountain Fair is accepting applications for Oasis Activity Vendors as well as the Valley Artists Booth, both applications are due May 15.

Due to the renovation of the Carbondale pool, the family-centric area of the Fair, lovingly known as The Oasis will be moving outside of Sopris Park and onto Main Street, expanding into a family block party! The Oasis includes a stage, kid-friendly vendors, a water and cooling station, and Creative Arts Canopy hosted by Carbondale Arts. In addition to these, Mountain Fair is seeking other partners such as schools, arts programs, and youth organizations to get involved and set up their own family-friendly activity tent or area.

The Valley Artists' Booth allows local artists (residing in a ZIP code starting with 816) who are current Carbondale Arts members to exhibit and sell their artwork in a cooperative, inexpensive way. Booth space is limited, and artwork will be juried. Submissions must be your own handmade (not manufactured, not imported) work. Criteria for judging include quality and uniqueness of items.
