Join Carbondale Arts, Valley Settlement Project and Thunder River Theatre Company for a celebration of Dia de los Muertos. A community ofrenda, or altar, will be created on Monday, November 2nd honoring those we have lost this year. All are invited to add their own memorials or offerings throughout the week.

The ofrenda will be located on the porch of The Launchpad. A virtual First Friday, November 6th, will feature traditions and customs of Dia de los Muertos, along with a how-to on the iconic calavera face painting. Join hosts Amy Kimberly, Samuel Bernal and Corey Simpson from 6-7pm on TRTC’s Thunderstream.

Únase a Carbondale Arts, Valley Settlement y el Teatro Thunder River para una celebración del Día de Muertos. Se creará una ofrenda comunitaria el lunes 2 de noviembre, en honor a los que hemos perdido este año. Se invita a los miembros de la comunidad a agregar sus propias ofrendas conmemorativas durante la semana.

La ofrenda estará ubicada frente a Launchpad, 76 S. 4th Street. Un "Primer Viernes" (First Friday) virtual, el 6 de noviembre, contará con las tradiciones del Día de Muertos, junto con una lección sobre cómo crear pinturas faciales para el Día.
