Opening in the gallery May 24, Xerocks & Potholes by Lindsay Jones and Analog Nature, a collaborative show featuring works by Robert G. Burch and Rob Borchardt.
Xerocks & Potholes focuses on the themes of nature and its cycles of change. The title is a playing allusion to the subject matter of Lindsay’s work, and the processes she uses to create her mixed media drawings, paintings, and animations.
Analog Nature features 30 years of craftsmanship, largely fostered in the Roaring Fork Valley. Borchardt is a highly-tuned professional with metal and fabrication. Burch has been working with glass for 16 years and had his start at a shop here in Carbondale.
Both exhibitions will have an artists reception First Friday, June 7, from 5-7pm with an artist talk at 5:30pm.
