Creative Apprentice Program
The Creative Apprentice Program pays teens to work with local creative professionals to develop works of community value while gaining exposure to and experience in contemporary creative professions.
Carbondale Arts Creative Apprentice Program (CAP) supports youth development by providing paid creative opportunities for youth (14-20) where youth of all backgrounds are valued, supported and nurtured by giving them the tools, skills and platform to voice their unique perspectives. Through CAP projects teens gain social/emotional skills, technical skills and develop strategies for career readiness.
