Artist Opportunities: November
Hello, Artists of the Roaring Fork Valley and beyond,
New opportunities for Local Creative Involvement below...please share with other creatives!
Seeking Entries for 46th Valley Visual Art Show
Submissions due Nov 1 - Dec 2
Carbondale Arts hosts the 46th Annual Valley Visual Art Show (VVAS), one of the longest-standing community art shows committed to showing the work of local artists. VVAS began in 1980 as a venue for local artists to share their artwork with the public. VVAS still provides this opportunity, especially for artists new to the area and budding artists, but the show has also become both a salute to the wide variety of artistic talents in our area and a time to bring the artist community together.
Last year’s 45th annual show featured about 60 Roaring Fork Valley artists and included two and three dimensional work created in with wide variety of media. We received work from many new artists as well as many long-time local artists from the Roaring Fork Valley.
Entry forms opened November 1 and will close December 2. The group exhibition is from January 17 through February 20.
