This First Friday, from 4-6pm, come meet Marilyn Lowey, the accomplished artist and designer behind one of our current exhibitions, "My Birthday Party". Marilyn's skill in manipulating light and materials comes from a long career as a theatrical lighting designer for major concerts, stage productions, and television, work for which she earned an Emmy in 1986 (learn more about Marilyn's long list of clients at her website: marilynlowey.com).

This Friday at The Launchpad, Marilyn will be available to speak one-on-one in person with artists interested in developing their own immersive installation show in the future, including the initial planning stages, exploring various materials and methods available, and logistics on how to tie together all the elements required for an installation.
