Spring Into Wellness at The Recreation Center
The Center for Human Flourishing hosts the 7th annual Spring Into Wellness event from 5 to 8 pm, showcasing health and wellness practitioners, businesses involved in fitness activities, food growers, nutrition experts, and more. The main venue will be the Carbondale Recreation Center where "vendors" will host tables for the public to circulate through and find out what services are available in our community. Any wellness practitioners, businesses, or food growers who would like to participate can find the application and full information here.
Main Street Happenings
Additional events will be taking place up and down Main Street, with food trucks, wellness activities, and community booths. More information on April First Friday happenings here.
The Launchpad
The gallery will be open from 5 to 7pm for the final viewing of Where The Wild Things Live by Kirstie Steiner and Cosmic Compost by Rachel Z. Becker, with a special community activation, “Trash Art & Compost Crafts,” facilitated by Rachel! Free and open to the public.

One of our favorite local bands, Sweet Jessup and the Dirty Buckets will keep the First Friday vibes high starting at 8:30pm. They are one of the finalists for Local’s Choice (now through 3/20) if you care to cast a vote!
**During April First Friday, Main Street will become a pedestrian corridor from Weant Blvd to 3rd St. First-Friday-goers are encouraged to park at the Recreation Center, at 4th St. and Colorado Ave, or at 6th St. and Colorado Ave., to visit vendor tables at the Spring Into Wellness event before strolling up to Main Street via the promenade.
